I now have to re-think my grocery shopping to allow for me staying at home. I also have to re-think dinner preps.

In other news, I got my front lawn mostly knocked down. I heart weed whackers. Easier to use and they leave my hands buzzing in a funky, kind-of cool way.

I also reclaimed the dining room table, done two loads of laundry and I'm taking a break from stitching up my butterfly curtain and adding the satin liner Zahde prepped for me.

The dizziness that kicks in off and on is disconcerting. I'm blaming the heat. 90s all week this week.

Take breaks from weed whacking - don't do more than 15 minutes at a time followed by a 5-minute break. That buzzing in your hands is not a good thing. I forget the name of the syndrome, but it can cause permanent damage if you don't take breaks from it.

Meh. I already have Renauds. What's one more circulation/nervous syndrome?

Weed whackers are great -- as long as you don't wait too long and things get too big.

Next weekend, I'm getting a machete for my backyard.

You need to get rid of those triffids before they get rid of you.

BTW I have your blue pill case. You left it at Song's.

The triffid stalks are hollow and soft; I've got blades which go through them easily. In fact, they are mostly down already.

The rhubarb (I think) have thick fibrous stalks (like ratan) that is hard to cut through with the tools I have. Ditto the maple (who's stalks are more woody).

Yay! for the satin liner. You are going to need that to sleep through the day when your night job starts.

Did you get rid of the fence in the front yard?
It looks like there is a maple tree growing on the west side of the house that needs to be cut down too.

I haven't gotten rid of the fence, the neighbor responsible was told to take care of it.

As for the tree, yes, yes I know. *SIGH*
