bloodsong1As I actually went to the bother, the BOTHER of stopping by Jo-Anne Fabrics and scoping out the patterns to see if it would be plausible for me to make the Sailor Moon costumes for Cuteness and I.
I'm justifying this by reminding myself that Cuteness and I have about 4-5 years before she outgrows me and decides costuming with Mom is "uncool". (Although if she decides when she's 5'10" and busty as all hell that she wants to ME to be Chibi-Moon, I will laugh hysterically and then suggest she be Sailor Jupiter and she can carry me around. Presuming, of course, that she still thinks Sailor Moon would be fun.)
SO! Chezzie, my skilled seamstress, what do you think would be easier? Skirt/blouse combos or embellishing teddy/leotards? I realize wigs will have to be purchased and I can handle the boots and gloves.
