Uranus and Neptune exchanged looks. Their experiences in the Silver Millennium and now in the present did not lend themselves to believing this Sarah. However, they HAD learned to trust their respective elements and both the wind and the sea insisted she was not a threat.
"How long will you be here?" Uranus asked. Sarah shrugged.
"Sailor Mercury has found two energy signatures that match our readings. I'm hoping she can lend me a piece of technology so I can research those signatures myself without adding to your burdens. If not, I will wait for this threat to be removed. I do not want to risk being separated from my children."
"Your children, are they somewhere safe?" Neptune asked.
"For now."
"Where are they?"
"I'm not telling you that," Sarah's eyes met each Senshi's evenly. "There is no chance we carry the talismans, for those belong in your universe, not ours. I have given Sailor Venus what intelligence I feel safe giving without compromising the future. You should speak to her after your next..." Sarah's words were cut off by a sudden fit of coughing. The Senshi waited. The coughing got worse and Sarah started gasping for breath.
"Shimatta!" She hissed on a gasp, turned and fled into the shrine, coughing loudly and more frequently. Uranus and Neptune took one step forward.
"Let her go," A new voice said.
"Pluto!" Uranus whipped around. The Senshi of Time stood behind them, clinging to her Staff and shaking her head.
"You can't follow her." Young female voices suddenly raised. Eyes widened at Usagi's clear tones, naming Sarah as Neesan. The coughing tapered off.
"What WAS that?" Uranus asked. Pluto gestured and the other two fell into step beside her.
"That was an asthma attack."
"Pluto, how much do you know about this Sarah?" Neptune asked.
"She IS from an alternate dimension. Only Chronos, God of Time, could have reached across the worlds and pulled her here. She...resonates with the elements. She called ME earlier tonight to vouch for her. I chose to resist her." The Outer Senshi exchanged glances. Sarah had become an important variable, one that bore close watching.
