One of the problems with online classes...

...is that when I've gotten something someone else hasn't and the teacher is explaining, I get bored. There's not much note taking now, we're working directly with our reference books and for some reason the teacher is giving me the really easy scenarios. I even figured out the codes for a late effect or residual condition faster then anyone else in the class, working with the same materials.

My fingers get itchy when I'm bored.

The internet is RIGHT THERE.

I'm trying to be a good student and pay attention, but listening to the same explanation three times in a row is trying my patience.

I've asked for practice exercises so I can work on coding during the week. Work starts a week from Tuesday, it will be nice to have to only bring one big honking manual instead of two. I'd rather be working, not listening.

Ah, break's over.

On the other hand, online means I can attend class in my underwear.

Being bored while the teacher explains things to the other students is one of the problems with being smart, not just in online classes. The problem with online classes is "The internet is RIGHT THERE." I would probably be playing solitaire during class. Before the internet I used to read books during classes for the same reason.

If you weren't so darn smart.....I agree with Zahde on this one. More good students are lost to higher education by boredom than any other reason, I bet. Not just higher, either- but the discipline will pay off. there are always Keigels...I do them when I'm bored.
