bloodsong1 | My aren't I prolific today?

I have to chew on the next MYSSH scene, because that was a left hand turn I was not expecting and now I have to figure out the fallout AND get the god of wind, an oni named Fujin, to cooperate on the summit of Mount Misen AFTER the hike up and AFTER the stop at the Reikado Hall to talk to the Eternal Flame. Whee.

I'm skipping back and forth on Simple Abundance. Today I purged my jewelry cabinet. Cuteness took three necklaces and I got rid of about five more, plus a dozen or so earring sets, plus a few mismatched earrings, plus half a dozen bracelets, plus all the unnecessary paperwork that had been crammed into the bottom drawers, plus the bathing products that had also been crammed into the bottom drawers. I kept only what jewelry I would actually wear to work and/or a date. As much as SNB is delighted that I'm not a "girly" girl who drips with jewelry and covered in makeup, it's that time of the year again. Witness the rose nails. *wiggles fingers*

I am not going to attempt a purge of my closet just yet. That will wait for warmer weather. I do intend to purge the hope chest at some point this week and hopefully get the corner that's crammed with my bedroom craft projects un-crammed. I might even get those wreaths done. Whoot.

When Mama A takes me out shopping at Kohls for my birthday, I'm going to be looking for better sweaters. All of mine are hopelessly shapeless and turtlenecks and I really can't stand those. I'm also going to be daring with colors. One of my impulse purchases earlier in the week was a purple jacket with beadwork. I got it for $5. *is all pleased* I think it will coordinate well with at least five tops, especially the peach short sleeved sweater and the blue long sleeve shirt with the purple pinstripes. I will wear it to work next week.

I'm still getting that restless feeling of "Something Needs To Be Done". I keep having flashes of crocheting a thin necktie in red thread. I also flash to the Cross Stitch O'Doom.

Maybe I'll make some hot cocoa and dig out my crochet bag and do that while watching...something on Netflix. Last night was about three hours of "Princess Tutu". That show makes me want to dance.
