Ask and the Universe will respond.

So about two-three months ago I spoke to the Universe and informed It I was ready for another cat.
Then I let it go.
A few days ago, SNB saw on the faceofbook that the newly engaged couple, SNB's bestest best friend and his ladylove, are looking for homes for their two cats, as they're going to Italy in a month or two. BBF is in the Army, it's a three year tour *snicker*, and we have a standing invite to visit. Passports will be obtained next year.
"Interested?" SNB asks, showing me a picture of Cricket, a neutered male mackerel tabby, strictly indoors.
"Yes." I said. "If no one else steps forward, I would welcome Cricket."
Information progressed. I found out what he was eating, dry purina healthy balance food. I passed the message through SNB that any blankets, beds, toys, food dishes, etcetera, should come with him to make the transition easier on Cricket.
Today SNB asked me if I would be willing to take the female cat from the same household.
"I'd rather not, since they're not litter mates, but if the only other option is a shelter, I will welcome the female as well," I said.
We shall see what happens.
Then I let it go.
