Her name is Izzy. (Cricket, it turns out, tolerates long drives better, so HE'S going South and I got her instead.)
She's a gray tabby that's mostly white. Her legs, chest and tummy are white, her head, back, parts of sides and tail are gray and black.
She's pretty.
She's also a talker, as I got meowed at for about half the trip home. She was NOT happy with the road construction delays. I told her I felt the same way.
She came with: Food bowl, water bowl, variety of canned food, scratching post, treats, grooming brush, litter box w/1 round of litter, a little dry food and a toy or three.
She is currently hiding under the leather chair in the ritual room. Her stuff is in there too. I made a deal with the Scroll Dragon. The scratching post is tucked into corner by the stairs, in the hopes she will come out and socialize.
I expect her to stay hiding for the next 48 hours.
I will need to buy dry food and litter, along with crackers so I can enjoy my goat cheese. I think I'll leave early before I pick up the kids.
