I made it into work safely, despite the 2" of snow on the ground, the additional 2-3" being called for over the course of the morning, possibly into the afternoon and two instances of the back end sliding out just enough for me to go "Yep, that's a slide" and correct. Roundabouts + snow = Fun Times!

20-30 mph is just fine, I'll get there, thanks. It's going down the hill I work on that will be fun this afternoon. I doubt we'll be let out early; neither snow nor rain nor sleet nor hail nor any inclement weather will keep people from getting sick or calling for medications. Yep.

Thanks to Zahde and Chez Elliot & Polar Bear, I am caught up with all the Dresden. All. The. Dresden. Well, except the anthology, as I'm feeling ambigious about it. I understand where Zahde was coming from and why she recommended reading it in the order she loaned us the books, but I'm much more interested in What Happens Next then old cases. I don't need all the history. I want The Future!!!

I also want Mouse. Or Mister. Actually, Mister would work out better in my household, but I have a feeling I wouldn't be sneezing and watering my eyes and all that NONSENSE with Mouse. But my guts tell me I don't qualify. Le sigh.

Time to go to work. I'm working on the next installment of Wistfull, check back!

She's fully equipped safety-wise, including rear air bags. I was okay, especially w/the extra 40 lbs of rock salt in the trunk. There was one instance going home where the bottom of the hill was ice and I thought I was going to slide into the back of the red Caravan in front of me, so I pushed hard on the brakes and I stopped with room to spare.
