The Garden Peon

Has a cucumber! A teeny tiny spiky cucumber! Huzzah!
Still has marigolds!
Still has carrots!
Still has basil!
I need to go out there and weed again.
Now that I've finished Shadows of Kyoto, I'm turning my grief/self discovery stories into hopefully a marketable "slice of life" type novel about bringing a small family farm back to life without the fabulous wealth. It is MUCH easier to write about gardening and farming and play farming sims then actually DOING it. No surprise, really. The research I do now will help me next year when I turn Serious Garden Peon and get many beans planted. I'm also going to invest in heirloom seeds that grow up here, with fingers crossed to save seed.
