Weekend fun.

Let's see. What happened this weekend...
Saturday we went to a documentary viewing at the local library. "Uncovered, The Truth About the Iraq War" Very interesting piece. It was made last summer and involved about 20 people from the CIA, military and political advisors, all breaking the case of WMD and pointing out flaws in various presentations.
www.moveon.org was the website, I _think_, that promoted and sells this documentary. If I'm wrong, I'll find the correct URL and post it.
I was impressed by the diversity of the turnout at the library. We had college kids, middle aged couples and little old ladies. The discussion afterwards was entertaining and polite. A lot of books were recommended. All in all, a good time and one I wouldn't mind repeating. Wolf and I have a serious lack of adult friends. (Yes, Doc, you count as an adult.)
Saturday night, Doc came over and we finished watching "Lain". Heh. Actually, we watched disc 2 and disc 4. Somehow managed to skip disc 3 entirely and not be any more confused then we already were. Doesn't help that we were drinking Sake and indulging in Salvia tincture at the same time. I was the only one that had any effects from the Salvia. Dizziness and a pinpoint of light when I closed my eyes. Interesting concept, Lain. We couldn't agree on _what_ she really was.
Sunday Wolf and I did laundry, some sweeping up and watched a lot of Comedy Central. Wolf tried to get ahold of the man we're thinking of buying a house from, he never called back. So, we kept the Chicago style pizza from Papa Murphy's and had that for dinner. Yum yum yum. Lunch for me!
Today so far has been moderately busy. I got all my chores doen by 1030, so I get to figure out what to do for the rest of the day. Yay.
