Weird Tuesday.

A department meeting Monday didn't go south, per say, but I got an earful from a coworker. I heard what was said and started processing what I could do and what I couldn't do.

Today boss took me aside and said some very encouraging things.

Then a rep used adjectives today that might have been complimentary, except when used by the coworker Monday they were clearly NOT.

And I got pegged as a military brat by observation.

Well, it's like the soldier said in Faerie Tale Theater's "Dancing Princesses". One man's praise is another man's condemnation.

I'm a little confused, but at least I'm not crying!

*hugs* It will be okay. I'll let them decide how they want everything and adapt accordingly. I'll also work on being less "combative" and more...more...gracious? Polite? Making requests instead of demands. Or something like that
