Most of the decorations are up, the kiddo's room is two thirds together, kitchen, bathrooms and dining room done. Living room still has boxes and our bedroom is full of stuff. But, what can you do?

I get to go to the dentist on Friday. Yay, more unpaid time off. >_< I hate this. I like my job and I feel bad imposing on others to cover for me, but my teeth have declared all out war on my pain receptors and the receptors are barely holding their own with the salt rinses. I didn't do it all weekend and boy am I paying the price. Thankfully, my boss knows a good dentist and I got an early morning appointment. Cross your fingers that they don't give me serious pain drugs, otherwise I'll be soooo hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh!

As it is, I know I'm going to need one tooth extracted, what's left of it anyway, one tooth repaired as it broke in half over a year ago, and about five cavities in various stages that'll need to be filled. At least five cavities.

This is what happens when you can't afford dental work for almost six years and you eat junk food. I brush nightly, but that's really not enough.

Ah well.

In other news, I have made onigiri! *does happy onigiri dance* We picked up a 5 lb bag of sweet rice at the E-Mart, along with these sticky red bean paste cakes that were SO good and big bowls of instant ramen with all the extra bits you don't see in American knockoffs. The ramen was nice, but Wolf can't eat it at work, no place to boil water.

We really, really need to go grocery shopping.

Consensus is this new place is very nice. Better location, nicer layout and much nicer facilities. Took us...six and a half hours and that included waiting on our second truck, who were a good two hours late and left as soon as the trailer was empty, leaving four people to move an entire truck bed of boxes.

But I'm not complaining. ^_^

Today is shiny new furniture day, as AFW screwed up on the dates and had us scheduled for June instead of May.

Still need to:

Clean, clean, clean the old place
Toss out what old furniture we can, the dressers are spoken for. Not sure about the bar stools.
Turn in our keys and call it good.
Unpack what we can afterwards before falling into bed. Work tomorrow!

See you all on the Dark Side.

If the weather ever makes up its bloody mind and does something other then sending storm bands rolling over my office and giving me headaches.

I'm done with work, so I'm being bad. Shhh! *shifty eyes*

Got the address changing done online. I luvs the post office.

Still need to update Netflix and GameFly and the daycare.

Got the utilities transfered, the complex is working on Comcast because cable company = teh stupid.

Still need to:

Finish packing
Laundry, laundry, laundry
Clean, clean, clean
Pick up the keys on Saturday and cut them the necessary check
Move what we can Saturday so there's less hassle Sunday
See about getting the mattress moved, because it really would be easier to sleep at the new place Saturday night if the shiny new furniture is gonna be delivered at zero dark thirty Sunday morning (read: anytime before 9am)

Crew coming around 10 on Sunday. Make sure I have lots of hot water to make ban cha for those who want tea. Hmm. Mebbe I should steal some cups from the office.

*does so*

I humbly request times you will be showing up Sunday, May 28th to assist in the Queenie Move. We will have a full-size truck and trailer available, courtesy of Wolf's boss, so it will be one trip. And there are elevators in our new building, so you only have to worry about carting stuff down one set of stairs. And there's no couches to load, just haul down and dump.

Please call me or respond to this post with times. We will, of course, be feeding and watering. Any preferences, include those with post or call.

Domo arigato.

Linen closet - packed
Bookcase - halfway packed
Loveseat - GONE! *beams*
Kiddo's closet - purged, lots o' empty boxes in there...
Clean, clean, clean and laundry, laundry, laundry - HAH! Doin' that today.

Also!
Packed up all of our hanging clothes in one big wardrobe box. I love that box. It's so nifty.
Packed up my red tea set.
Purged my hope chest, it is now empty and much easier to lift. Kept about, um, half of what was in there, even my high school yearbooks. Which is a laugh, really. Wolf asked if I was trying to look like Harry Potter my freshman year. >_< But, I just can't toss them.
Space-bagged three drawers worth of my clothes, plus my wedding dress, Wolf's wedding robe and all our spare linens. Should still have enough pillows and blankets for wrapping up the television and computer monitor.
Ran the dishwasher.

Still need to:

Pack up good dishes.
Drop off ARC donations.
Go to American Furniture Warehouse and finalize our shiny new furniture purchase.
Grocery shopping? We need bread and cotton balls and witch hazel.
Clean and laundry, or at least tidy up and run a few loads. I have a gut feeling it's not all getting done today.

Now if my body would just decide if it wants to bleed or not, I'll be happy.

In other news, KH is still running on "meh" with me. I'm really enjoying the fighting engine and the camera isn't nearly as bothersome now that I know what to do. But really. Having to go back to Traverse Town EVERY FRICKING TIME I need potions is REALLY annoying. Especially since I keep forgetting my little gummi ship has GUNS and I need to USE THEM! *sigh*

Your notices have been duly processed.

Yes, I'm all right.

Yes, we're moving.

After the nonsense with this pet thing, and the fact that our neighbors are getting 1)noiser and 2)driving older, junkier cars, we've decided enough's enough. We got a schweet deal on a better complex, a high rise with security gates and concrete insulation and MUCH better faculties. It'll be more expensive in rent, a good $100+, but we get in for dirt cheap, the nekos are NOT an issue, and we get a kitchen BIG ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE!! And a bathroom with TWO SINKS!! And a SEPERATE SHOWER!!!

*geeks out over space*

SO!! Kyther, Doc, Evan (only if you're stil here), we will be begging assistance in this. Only one set of stairs to tromp down, the new place has elevators. (ooooooooooo) Looking at the last weekend in May. Let me know if you can help. We will, of course, feed and water.

And for the record, Sam's Club California sake is really good once it's properly warmed up. *nodnodnod*

Ok, SLIGHT change of plans. Instead of the seperate shower and dual sinks, we get a kitchen nook. (Bathroom's still twice as big as what we've got now.) Instead of a fireplace, we get a 2nd floor apartment. And I checked our in-house documents regarding the current location. We moved in December 4. Soooo, we're looking at the first weekend of June instead of the last weekend in May.

I fully expect the jackers here to try and squeeze extra money from us. I'll just point to the pet deposit and say "Use that, jerks." Oh, that reminds me. Have to call them in for the repairs. *devil horns*
