I've seen better days...

Been the star of many plays.
I've seen better days.
And the bottom drops out.
*laughs*
*snarls at an annoying coworker*
That was a little smartass of her. "I talked it over with so and so and he said to do this, so until I hear otherwise, I will continue to do so." WTF?? I know I talked to the new sup about this issue and he agreed it would be easier to send requests directly to me instead of having him forward them. I'm the one who does all the work, after all. Bitch.
Huh. That really got my back up. Why should I feel insulted? If she wants to do it the hard way... Must be because I know it's a waste of time and it's stupid to make the sup do an extra step. Also because it sounds like she doesn't trust my word. Or care, for that matter. Yeah, that's it. It's like she said "You're just a temp, you have no authority, so bugger off." Ok, I'm a temp. I do know how to do my job quickly and efficently. I had the idea and both past and present sups agreed, last I heard. Just because someone else took over the department doesn't mean everything changes. It makes more SENSE to email me.
This is almost as bad as the adjuster who put little sticky notes on the paperwork. "Please do this and send." Duh. Been doing this for six months. I finally emailed her. "Please do not do this. I know how to do my job." She stopped.
*deep breaths*
Ok, I'm better.

Ratbert: "Wow! Me? A temp?!"
R: "As a temp I would finally get all the respect and unconditional love that I deserve!!"
D: ~Danger: Sharp learning curve ahead.~
R: "I assume I'll get an office and a secretary."
Heh.
